Calvin Roetzel will share about what the Great Depression taught him.  After general remarks from the book, he will would focus on the role stories played in entertainment (pre-radio and TV), recalling lessons of the past for the present, keeping the future open, the resurrecting the legacies of the deceased, and in providing release from the drudgery and boredom of the very hard farm life of the Great Depression.
